1960s Rodger Milot for Fred Perlberg fully sequin Lurex gown

Fred Perlberg is an interesting designer. He started his label in 1920 at the grand old age of 19 and continued as the designer until 1968 when he retired. This would be from just before that. It is a great representation of what the label did so well - make mid-priced party and dance dresses that followed the current trends. They were well made in small production runs and hold up well to the passing of time. This piece has both the Perlberg tag and the original Neiman Marcus tag.
